Fishers of Men Testimonial

Jonathan Lyons, St. Louis“I was looking for something in my life. I was 30 yrs old, 2 children and one on the way and a lot of responsibilities…. I felt a stronger calling to God, and would pray that I could find other men like myself who needed to grow in their faith. Not long after this time, the first MMOS took place. I was unable to make it due to “not enough time”, but was asked out of the blue to go to a follow up meeting by Fr. John McArthur and represent St. Louis. I knew this is what I had been praying for. We started the FOM Group at St. Louis in Nov. of 2006. What I have gotten out of sharing my faith with other men who are trying to strengthen their faith in God and their understanding of the Catholic faith has been unbelievable. It is a forum which I can share concerns in life, concerns in my responsibilities as a father and leader, and my yearning to find out more about my faith. Without FOM, the way that I approach situations and life in general would be very different. God is good.”

Jonathan Lyons, St. Louis

COME HOLY SPIRIT
Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Thy faithful and enkindle in them the fire of Thy love. Send forth Thy Spirit and they shall be created. And Thou shalt renew the face of the earth. O God, Who didst instruct the hearts of the faithful by the light of the Holy Spirit, grant us in the same Spirit to be truly wise, and ever to rejoice in His consolation. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
